The steps, start to finish
The interview happens before any fee, so a family can talk to a caregiver and still decide not to go ahead.
Search and request
The family compares caregivers by kind of care, place, language, checks, availability and monthly charge, then sends a request. The caregiver's phone number and private details stay hidden.
Review and interview
Our team checks the request. The caregiver accepts, says no, or asks a question. Then they meet, online or on a call our team hosts. Nothing is charged for an interview.
Choose and pay
The family chooses one caregiver. Our team confirms it and sends the one-time booking fee link. While one request is going ahead, new requests from that family wait.
Care begins
After payment, contact details are shared for that booking. The family and caregiver agree the monthly charge directly. Private feedback helps our team keep quality high.
What we check
A profile can be visible in search while stronger checks are still going on. Only checks that are complete are shown as verified.
Approved for search
The basic profile has been reviewed and can appear in search. Contact details stay hidden.
Verified for booking
The checks our team requires are complete. Booking still depends on availability and fit.
Profiles set up by our team
Our team can create a profile for a caregiver who is not comfortable with apps, then connect a sign-in later.
Referrals
A referral tells us how a caregiver found us. It never replaces our checks.
- Identity and address can be reviewed before stronger checks are shown.
- Police verification, references, agency details and qualifications are tracked separately, where they apply.
- Nursing and other clinical duties need a qualification check before they are shown as verified.
- Availability, places, languages and monthly charges can be updated during review.
For families
- Look without signing in. Search by kind of care, place, availability, language, checks and monthly charge.
- Create a free family account. To see names, send requests, meet caregivers, confirm a booking, and tell us about a problem.
- Send a request. Describe the care, the place and the timing, so the caregiver and our team can judge the fit.
- Wait for a reply. The caregiver and our team look at the request before an interview is arranged.
- Go ahead with one. Once one request is confirmed, new requests wait until it is finished or cancelled.
For caregivers
- Create a profile, or ask us to. Sign up yourself, or our team can set it up with you and connect your sign-in later.
- Share your details. The care you give, your experience, places, languages, availability, charges and documents.
- We review it. Our team checks your details and decides when your profile is ready for search and for booking.
- Answer requests. Accept or say no, based on the place, the timing and the work.
How our team helps
Our team keeps quality consistent: it helps collect check documents, tidies up profiles, looks at how a caregiver was referred, and decides when a profile is ready for search or booking.
This help is free. It does not guarantee approval, ranking, featured placement or bookings.
Privacy and contact details
Search shows limited professional details only. Phone numbers, exact addresses, documents, private references and our team's notes are never shown in search.
Contact details are shared through the request and interview steps, for a confirmed booking. They are checked on our server before they are sent, and never kept in your browser's storage.
During care, our team may send a private feedback link. It does not reveal anyone's contact details.
An automated first read of caregiver profiles
When a caregiver sends or updates a profile, an automated tool reads the profile text before a person on our team does. It points out missing details, contact details written into the summary, and claims that need checking.
It reads the summary, experience, education, kinds of care, places, languages, availability and charges. It never reads identity or other documents, photos, phone numbers, names, religion or referral details, and any phone number, email address or link in the summary is removed first. The text is processed by Cloudflare Workers AI, which does not use it to train models.
Only our team sees its notes. They are never shown to families, and it never approves or rejects anyone: a person on our team decides.
Staying safe
We review the information we say we review. Our checks are not a promise about future conduct, skill, availability, identity or care suitability.
Do not pay outside Guardian Care 360, share contact details early under pressure, or skip our team's review. Tell our team about anything that worries you before going ahead.
Families and caregivers make the final decision to work together, and agree the day-to-day care and the monthly pay directly. We may pause contact, cancel requests or suspend accounts if we suspect fraud, abuse, false details or unsafe behaviour.
Fees, refunds and featured profiles
Families pay a one-time booking fee, shown before they pay, only after choosing a caregiver and after our team confirms the booking. Searching, sending requests and interviews are free. The monthly charge is agreed directly between the family and the caregiver or agency, and we take no share of it.
The booking fee is refunded if the caregiver or agency cancels or does not turn up before care starts. Tell our team: we cancel the request, record the refund, and return the fee to the account you paid from. You will see the refund next to the payment in your account.
If you change your mind after we have introduced you to a caregiver, the fee is not refunded, because the introduction it pays for has been made. We will still cancel the request for you.
A caregiver or agency can pay for a featured profile, or our team can give one for free. Featured profiles are labelled. They are easier to find, but they never replace checks, availability or fit, and never outrank a verified or better-matched caregiver.
Questions
Can I look at caregivers without signing in?
Yes. You need a free account only to see names, send requests, meet caregivers, confirm a booking, or tell us about a problem.
When are a caregiver's contact details shown?
Not while you are looking. They are shared through the request and interview steps, for a confirmed booking. You do not pay anything just to interview.
Can I send many requests?
Yes, within limits. Once one request is confirmed, new requests wait until it is finished or cancelled.
What does "Verified for booking" mean?
That the checks our team requires are complete. It is not a promise about future conduct, skill, availability or suitability.
Does a referral mean a caregiver is verified?
No. Every profile goes through the same checks.
Is private feedback public?
No. Only our team reads it, to keep quality high.
Is Guardian Care 360 an emergency service?
No. In an emergency, call 112.
What we don't do
Guardian Care 360 helps families and caregivers find each other, meet, and confirm a booking. We are not an emergency service, an employer, or a payroll service, and we do not handle the monthly pay.
We cannot promise that everything a person tells us is true. Families and caregivers should still make their own checks before starting work together.
